For those who are waiting for Nokia 6.1 Plus in India can take a breath of relief as Nokia started sending out invites for August 21’s ‘big unveil’. HMD Global, the owner of Nokia, hasn’t actually confirmed anything about Nokia 6.1 Plus, also known as Nokia X6 in China. But there is a high chance that this device might finally hit the Indian shore. Previously, the support page for the Nokia 6.1 Plus went live on the brand’s official Indian website indicating its imminent launch.
Nokia 6.1 Plus or X6 has received great acclaim not only in China but also in other markets. Looking at the immense success of the device, the brand decided to make it available in the global market too. Citing the upcoming launch event and how Nokia 6.1 Plus went live on the Nokia India website, we can say that it’s actually happening. Nokia will also launch an 8110 4G, Nokia 2.1 and/or Nokia 5.1 Plus.
Now it could be a mistake that Nokia 6.1 Plus went live on Nokia India, isn’t it? But as we read the user guide attached to it, we came across a statement where it says “Your mobile device is also designed to meet the requirements for exposure to radio waves established by the India Department of Telecommunications. These requirements set a SAR limit of 1.6W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue”. Isn’t that intriguing?
Nokia 6.1 Plus specifications

The front selfie camera sports a 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and 1.0micrometer pixel size which remain a norm in most mid-range smartphones. The phone will be available with a 3,060 mAh Li-Ion battery and three color variants i.e. Blue, White, and Black.
