Specs and Features
The headphones use 40 mm dynamic drivers, designed with an 8.9 mm PU surround and high-linearity suspension. They support Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation that cuts up to 42dB of external noise. The ANC system updates every 600ms, and also monitors how sound leaks from the ear cup to your ear every 1875ms to adjust noise control accurately.
Transparency Mode is also included, allowing you to hear ambient sounds when needed. There’s support for Adaptive Bass, Spatial Audio, and Head Tracking for immersive playback.
Audio Tuning by KEF
Nothing collaborated with KEF for acoustic engineering. The headphone’s driver system, audio chambers, and sound processing were tested and tuned for consistent quality across different audio modes.
Durability and Controls
The headphone passed over 50 quality tests, including sweat, drop, and temperature checks. It comes with IP52 dust and water resistance. You get physical controls via a roller, paddle, and button to manage playback, volume, and noise modes.
Call Quality and Connectivity
For calls, AI Clear Voice Technology improves clarity by reducing background noise. The model supports LDAC, USB-C, and 3.5 mm jack, along with Hi-Res Wireless certification at 24-bit/96kHz quality.
Battery and Charging
Battery performance is rated at 35 hours with ANC and up to 80 hours without ANC. A quick 5-minute charge gives 2.4 hours of ANC playback.
