The next-gen OnePlus 12 has been spotted on the AnTuTu 10 benchmarking platform flaunting its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC crashing the 2 million points mark. Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) took it to Weibo to share a screenshot of an upcoming OnePlus device carrying serial number PJD110 which stands for OnePlus 12.
As you can see in the screenshot below, OnePlus 12 scored a whopping 2,110,808 points on AnTuTu 10. For context, the OnePlus 12 scored a higher benchmark than 99% of phones ever tested on the platform. To break it up further, here’s how OnePlus 12 fared –
- CPU – 495,780 points
- GPU – 914,151 points
- MEM – 362,402 points
- UX – 338,475 points
DCS further added that the phone was tested with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (of course), 12GB of RAM, and a large Tiangong vapor chamber (VC) that kept the chipset at a phenomenal sustained performance. For the unversed, flagship-cadre Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC was officially launched on October 26, and even before that, we had seen leaked AnTuTu scores confirming it crossed the 2 million mark already. For comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the OnePlus 11 scored around 1.3 to 1.5 million points which gives the scope for massive improvements with the next-gen OnePlus 12.
Moving further, we are aware that a larger 24GB RAM model could potentially have a higher AnTuTu score although that remains to be seen. OnePlus 12 is expected to furnish a 5,400mAh battery, 12/16/24GB of RAM, a 100W wired and 50W wireless charging on top of a 6.82” QHD+ panel with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits to name a few specs.
OnePlus 12 is expected to arrive officially in China in December this year. A month later i.e. in January 2024, OnePlus 12 will make its global launch although the dates are tentative and not confirmed just yet. If the intel is true, OnePlus 12 will share the same month as Samsung Galaxy S24 series arriving in January 2024 as well.
