Chinese OEM OnePlus entered the TV segment releasing its OnePlus Q1 TV series consisting of two models i.e. Q1 and Q1 Pro. Both the TVs were attuned to the premium segment with a hefty price tag on both which of course discourage many people with a tighter budget. OnePlus is set out to launch another series of TVs that will be more affordable and feature-rich on July 2. There’s some valuable input from OnePlus that I have listed below.

First of all, OnePlus confirmed that three models are arriving in the upcoming TV series. Based on a certification site whose report was leaked earlier this month, there’s a 32-inch and a 43-inch variant for sure and the last one is probably 55-inch. Apart from that, OnePlus has listed the price tag of these three models as vaguely as possible since there are still a few days until the event goes live.

According to the pricing OnePlus revealed recently, it’s upcoming OnePlus TV Series will be starting from Rs 1X,999/-, Rs 2X,999/-, and Rs 4X,999/-. This puts a lot of curious minds at work as to what actual price the upcoming TVs will release. Even in the worst-case scenario, the upcoming TV series could be priced at Rs 19,999/-, Rs 29,999/- and Rs 49,999/- which is still far lower than what the entry-level OnePlus TV Q1 (2019) was launched with at Rs 69,999/-.

According to GSMArena, the smaller model is expected to get an HD display while the 43-inch model will probably get FHD while the largest variant will get a QHD panel. Apart from that, the trio comes with Dolby Vision that will further enhance the visual experience. Apart from that, the trio is certified with 93% DCI-P3 that will provide a wider color gamut while its Gamma Engine will enhance the experience thanks to MEMC, Super-resolution, dynamic contrast, and other tech at work that should provide a superior picture quality unmatched by others.

Moreover, Pete Lau has also promised that the upcoming TVs will exceed expectations and raise standards. OnePlus is also running a slogan with the July 2nd launch “Smarter TV, Smarter Price” where the latter part is for affordable pricing while the former part gives a nod to its enhanced AI capabilities.
