Oppo is building up the momentum to roll out the Oppo Find N7 wide foldable phone sometime this year. This goes in line with what we are witnessing in 2026 with examples of the upcoming Apple iPhone Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide.

Oppo Find N7 Wide may feature a wider foldable display

According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Oppo Find N7 Wide, the next-gen foldable phone from the Chinese maker, is in line to gain a wide-screen foldable panel and thus the moniker. In fact, certain display details revealed in the report suggest the panel will be crease-free, which is a major statement to claim.

It is quite obvious that foldable displays will have creases, although several recent iterations from smartphone makers have proven that we could see fewer creases. In fact, Apple wants to ship one of the most minimal creases onboard the upcoming iPhone Ultra. It seems like Oppo wants to be on that bandwagon too, pushing the envelope of wide foldable phones to the next level.

Furthermore, we have heard the alleged Oppo Find N7 Wide has a horizontally aligned rear camera setup. This should cover most of the width of one of the two halves of the foldable phone. It also means the iconic circular camera island found on many previous Find N phones are bidding goodbye as well. The phone is expected to arrive early in 2027, although take it with a pinch of salt.

Apart from that, Oppo is also planning for a next-gen Find X10 Ultra, which will be a bezel-less display, aka without any frame, although retaining the camera model from Find X9 Ultra. It means the Find X10 Ultra will see a circular rear cam module and could arrive at the end of the first or start of the second quarter of next year.
