OnePlus reveals official OxygenOS 13 beta update rollout schedule

Ever since Android 13 was officially launched a few months ago, this set off a chain of events where OEMs have been rolling out Android 13-powered updates on different phones at different stages. Today, Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has officially confirmed the Android 13-powered OxygenOS 13 beta rollout schedule that it will follow for months to come. The schedule comprises the current status of some of the models as well as models that will get OxygenOS 13 beta soon. Here’s more.

The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is already running on a stable OxygenOS 13 update since August 2022. In September 2022, OnePlus launched Open Beta for the OnePlus 10R 5G, OnePlus 95G, and OnePlus 9 Pro 5G as said.

Moving on, the Q4 2022 schedule mentioned that the OnePlus 10T 5G has already intercepted the closed beta for OxygenOS 13. On the other hand, the OnePlus 9RT 5G, 9R 5G, 8 5G, 8T 5G, and 8 Pro 5G are in Open Beta at the time of writing this. This leaves the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and CE 2 Lite 5G as the only two devices that are scheduled for a beta update in Q4 2022 which commenced this month and will run through December 2022.

In H1 2023, the official timeline mentions that the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, Nord CE 2 5G, and CE 5G are part of the batch of devices that will get their hands on Android 13-powered OxygenOS 13 Beta. The exact timelines are not available but this is at least what users can keep in tow with awaiting the OxygenOS 13 Beta.

As said, OnePls 7, 7T, 7 Pro, 7T Pro, and Nord 5G aren’t eligible for OxygenOS 13 update and thus not mentioned in the same.

Do note that the update is rolling out on a batch-by-batch basis as usual. What this means is that even if your phone is eligible and getting the update at the moment, you might have to wait as the update is rolled out to a batch of users followed by another.

Phones tied with carriers will have a slightly different timelines as the latter will have to tweak and release the update. The stable OxygenOS 13 update for eligible devices will take time as it takes since the Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed it will reiterate beta updates until it finds no errors only after then, it will release the stable updates.
