The March 29 Xiaomi Mega Launch Event was kicked off with Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro as the center of attraction only after other Mi 11 series smartphones joined the wagon. The device packs in some boss specifications and that is why it was named the “King of Android” by Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun.

Talking about the device, the display on-board is a 6.81-inch quad-curved QHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is almost the same as that of Xiaomi Mi 11 although the display brings on-board Dolby Vision as well. There’s a Gorilla Glass Victus for extreme protection against falls and drops. Just like Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, the Mi 11 Pro packs in a stereo speaker setup touched by Harman Kardon. The display has a tiny punch-hole to the top-left corner housing the same 20MP selfie snapper as that of Mi 11 Ultra.

Moving on, there are plenty of changes w.r.t the camera mounted on Mi 11 Pro compared to its non-Pro variant. This includes a Samsung GN2 50MP snapper with a 1/1.2” module which is among the largest sensors on a smartphone. The display has Stagger HDR, Dual Pixel Pro AF, and ISO fusion among other technologies on-board that lets users capture 8K video using the primary sensor. Moving on, we get an 8MP periscope telephoto snapper with 5x optical and 50x digital zoom along with OIS. The third sensor in this triple camera setup is a 13MP ultrawide snapper with a giant 123-degrees field-of-view.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro packs in a flagship Snapdragon 888 under the hood with a state-of-the-art thermal management system with a 150mm vapor chamber that keeps the heat away from the system.

The Mi 11 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood that would provide more than a day of charge even on heavy use. The battery uses a Silicon Oxygen anode that improves conductivity, has higher density, and supports faster charging. In fact, Mi 11 Pro packs in a benchmarking 67W wired and wireless charging each capable of juicing up the battery to its maximum capacity in just 36 minutes.
