Family Plan for Play Music
Alongside the new Nexus devices, the Nexus 5X and 6P, the Pixel C Tablet and the new set of chromecasts, we also got a new family plan for Play Music at the Google Event on September 29th 2015.
Instead of paying the full price for a range of accounts in a single family, Google has introduced the family pack to suit their needs. The pack comes at a price of $14.99 per month and supports upto six family members, allowing all the members to stream music directly from Play Music anytime anywhere without spending separately for multiple accounts, which will help the users save a lot of their hard earned cash.
Normally, the single pack for streaming unlimited music from Google Play Music comes at a price of $9.99 making it quite expensive for multiple users of the same family! But now, if a family consists of even 2 people, they will save $5 by applying for the family package.
If we compare, the family pack of Spotify comes at $29.99 per month whereas Apple offers its Apple Music Family package at the exact same price of that provided by Google. Therefore this pack will attract a lot of users when comparing to other music streaming services.
