After a month of its official launch in China, Realme GT 6 finally made its debut in India as the next-gen ‘flagship killer’. Powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC under the hood, the performance-oriented phone is pegged at INR 40,999/- and brings a lot to the table. Here’s everything you need to know about Realme GT 6.

Realme GT 6 Specifications

Talking about the specs sheet onboard, we have a 6.78” AMOLED 120Hz panel with a whopping 6,000 nits of peak brightness (the brightness I have seen to date). The display rocks a 1264 × 2780 pixels resolution and uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to protect it from elements.

Under the hood, we have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC clocked at 3.0GHz of max frequency that undermines the flagship SD8 Gen 3 by 0.3GHz. There’s an Adreno 715 GPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. As usual, there’s no storage expandability so that’s taken care of. On the software end, we have Android 14 out-of-the-box plus 4 years of Android OS upgrades that will take you till Android 18.

Since everyone is getting on the AI wagon, why not Realme, right? REalme has added Next AI, its AI capable of removing distractions in photos (via AI Smart Removal), AI Night Vision, and AI Smart Loop that tells you apps you can use based on your preferences and behavior.

On the battery front, we have a 5,500mAh powerhouse clubbed with 120W fast charging. Realme tells us it’s going to take the battery from 1% to 100% in just 26 minutes. It will be capable of retaining at least 80% of its charge capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles or let’s say more than four years of daily charging and discharging the battery from top to bottom.

When it comes to the cameras, Realme leaves no stone unturned here as well. Realme GT 6 packs in a triple rear camera with the assembly includes a 50MP wide-angle 26mm Sony-LYT808 sensor, a 47mm telephoto snapper with 50MP sensor, and a 8MP ultra-wide snapper without AF. At the front, we get a 8MP ultra-wide shooter with fixed focus.
