The amount of OnePlus 6 leaks pouring in has been overwhelming and recently OnePlus revealed an image of its next flagship sporting a notch, which has been a trend lately, following dual-camera setup and bezel-less designs. Like every year, one of the most awaited smartphone launch this year is from OnePlus and people are already hyped for it.

On Monday, the brand confirmed the OnePlus 6 moniker by posting a short four-second teaser video on its Twitter account that says “the speed you need” followed by a “6”, while its caption reads, “6et Ready”.  The said appellation was already revealed by the Wi-Fi Alliance certificate that the phone received earlier today. Last week, Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, confirmed to a media outlet about the presence of a notch on the OnePlus 6. This step is taken in order to provide the consumers a device with a better screen to body ratio. Carl stated that the device will feature a screen to body ratio of around 90-percent.

A new image of the alleged OnePlus 6 had leaked earlier which revealed the rear of the smartphone. It indicates a wood-grain finish at the back along with a vertically aligned dual camera setup. All the in-display fingerprint sensor speculations have been brushed-off since the device sports a rear fingerprint sensor similar to that on the OnePlus 5T, except for the circular part, as the sensor is now more like a capsule, as seen on the Samsung Galaxy S9 duo.

According to the previous leaks, the OnePlus 6 will most likely sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display, with a notch of course. The OnePlus 6 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and will probably come with 6GB to 8GB of RAM along with 128GB internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the rumours suggest that the device will sport a dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors with f/1.7 aperture. The front camera is expected to come with a 20-megapixel sensor. The device is speculated to be powered by 3450mAh battery and will run on OxygenOS based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Reports suggest that the OnePlus 6 is expected to have a June release but with the teaser out already, the launch can happen within this month.
