Samsung is currently working on another budget smartphone but this time with Android Go platform. This device will be the first device which runs Android Go platform by the brand. It will be an entry-level device with cropped down experience. Previously, a Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-J260G was leaked. The same Samsung device today got its Wi-Fi certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance. This listing reveals one small aspect of the device i.e Operating System. Samsung Android Go smartphone will run on the latest version of Android i.e. Android 8.1 Oreo. In terms of optics, the device may sport an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. All of this runs on a small 2,600mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo.

When it comes to availability, there is no word when the brand is going to launch this device, with what price tag and in which country. A report does suggest that this upcoming Android Go device is going to launch with Galaxy J2 Core branding but there is no hard evidence as of now.
