After launching the flagship Honor 10, the Chinese smartphone maker is all set to introduce their next-gen Note 10. Just like Honor 10, the Note 10 will be more on the premium segment side. Both the launch dates were announced by the brand today on their official Weibo account.

If you’re not aware, the brand is working on this premium phablet for almost two years now. Honor Note 10 will be the successor of the previously launched Honor Note 8. Just like Honor 10, this would be a worthy update having improved better, faster and cooler experience. Also, this upcoming phablet will boast some AI related features. Just ahead of IFA 2018, Honor is hosting a global event on August 30. While the brand didn’t really give any information related to the products but Honor Note 10 for sure will make an appearance since it is top of the line offering.

Honor Note 10 design and specifications

Earlier this week, some leaked images of the device surfaced online showing us the front of the phablet. As per the images, the phablet will come with tiny bezels on the top and the bottom and even tinier bezels on the side. The minimum bezels mean one thing that this phablet will have a higher screen-to-body ratio.

If you’re not aware, the phone has also made its way to the GeekBench listing revealing most of the specifications. Honor Note 10 will boast a massive 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel on the front. As per the various rumors, the AMOLED display is supplied by none other than Samsung. It is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset clocked at 1.84 GHz coupled with 6GB of RAM and a 128GB of internal storage. The brand might also be working on the higher 8GB RAM variant. The Kirin 970 chipset has its own dedicated NPU i.e. Neural Processing Unit meaning it will support AI-based features.

Speaking of optics, there is a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 16MP primary sensor and a 24MP secondary sensor. For selfies, there is a 24MP camera at the front of the device. All of this will run on the latest version of Android 8.1 Oreo with the latest version of EMUI. We’re expecting a gigantic battery packed inside somewhere around 6,000 mAh capacity with Super charge.

Honor Note 10 gaming redefined

If you haven’t already heard of the brand’s new GPU Turbo technology then you should definitely check that out. The phablet will come with this piece of tech, improving the overall gaming experience. Since this phone also comes with an AI-based feature which will also add up to the gaming experience. Unfortunately, the brand didn’t go with Kirin 980 but instead end up using Kirin 970 chipset. You will still witness gaming experience thanks to the massive display boasting tinier bezels.

Honor Note 10 availability and pricing

Coming to the availability and pricing, there is no concrete information but we’re expecting more leaks and rumors to make the round. No doubt, the device will make its way to the Indian market but that is not going to happen anytime soon. Honor is also launching a budget smartphone which goes by the name Honor 9N in India on July 24. Just after two days, Huawei (the parent brand of Honor) will be unveiling Nova 3 and Nova 3i both being the premium device supporting the latest GPU Turbo technology out of the box.
