OnePlus 6T Battery Capacity Leaks: 10% Larger Than OnePlus 6

As the launch date for OnePlus 6T is nearing, we will get to hear more about the upcoming successor to OnePlus 6 launched this year in May. Out of the plenty of details that were revealed in previous leaks, we recently got a leaked photo what we assume is the battery pack for OnePLus 6T which states that the smartphone will be powered by a larger 3,700 mAh battery which is 10% larger than 3,300 mAh Li-Po battery in OnePlus 6.

The leak came from Chinese social media website Weibo where the photo was leaked carrying OnePlus 6T’ battery pack of 3,700 mAh but with a rated output of 3,610 mAh as mentioned on the battery. Apparently, OnePlus will be using the same Dash Charge for the OnePlus 6T as well which is marketed as VOOC in Oppo smartphones as both the Chinese brands are part of the same group ‘BBK Electronics’.

OnePlus 6T will be the first smartphone from OnePlus to carry official water resistant certification among other features like an In-display fingerprint scanner which was teased in a recent video ad during Asian Cup 2018 match between India and Pakistan. Further, we also know that the OnePlus 6T will have a 6/8GB RAM option with 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage and the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and of course, Android Pie out-of-the-box with OyxgenOS 9.0 skin which was recently rolled out for OnePlus 6 devices.
