OnePlus 6T is just a ‘stone throw’ days away from its official launch on October 29 in New York after it recently rescheduled its Oct 30 event after Apple scheduled its Special Event 2018 on the same day in the same city. We already know much about the upcoming OnePlus 6T including the renders leaked a few days ago along with its features that were added recently and much more. We knew that there won’t be any physical or component change in the rear optics of OnePlus 6T but the Chinese OEM has worked a lot to provide what OnePlus fans were longing for. On 17th October 2018, OnePlus exclusively confirmed to TrueTech that the OnePlus 6T will feature a Night Mode for Cameras, and today we see the confirmation of the same from the CEO’s post on Weibo!

I am talking about the recent camera samples posted by none other than OnePlus CEO Pete Lau who shared the samples on Chinese social networking site Weibo. The images show the excellent curve taken by OnePlus 6T when it comes to low-light photography and the images are amazingly detailed. This what TrueTech established about the Camera night mode earlier. The following images demonstrate how low light photography is clearer and better with the said Night Mode on the OnePlus 6T’s camera, that captures with the help of software and hardware, multiple exposures to stitch it into one amazing photo.

Basically, one of the images captured the high rises somewhere in China while another captured the Galaxy SOHO Complex at night and I must agree that the photos are impressive. OnePlus has reportedly improved the low-light photography algorithms which capture images in low-light conditions using its dual rear camera setup with far more impressive detail than the predecessor OnePlus 6 and that is apparently a truth when you zoom into the images. Also, the images are less distorted wit a slight pinch of noise which is negligible.

The upcoming OnePlus 6T will be the most expensive smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer priced at Rs 37,999/- in India for its base 6GB/64GB model while the OnePlus 6 was launched with a price tag of Rs 34,999/-. It is not a secret that we already know much about the upcoming smartphone such as it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack, no wireless charging, and no IP rating but it will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, a larger 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display and a 3,700 mAh battery which is 400 mAh larger than OnePlus 6.
