There have been a lot of talk and comparisons made about the Xbox Series X that was revealed long ago by Microsoft to the Sony PlayStation 5 in terms of performance, design as well as features.

While we can say that PlayStation 5 looks more modern and futuristic, Microsoft’s Xbox Series X is understated and functional. In terms of performance, both Microsoft and Sony promise to give a stellar performance which is best-in-class and miles ahead of last-gen consoles. But we have a new report regarding Microsoft’s next-gen gaming consoles which is beyond the Xbox Series X.

The new report claims that Microsoft is working on second next-gen gaming console along with the Xbox Series X and this one will also come in the Xbox Series lineup. As per the report, the console will be named as the Xbox Series X just like the Microsoft One series which had the One X and the One S. Obviously, the Xbox One S was less powerful than the One X which could be repeated with the Series X and Series S too.

The leak was first seen by Eurogamer that tells us about Microsoft’s plans of unveiling this console codenamed “Lockhart” in June but those plans have been delayed possibly due to the Black Lives Matter protests in the US. Now, the publication claims that this unveil will happen in August and it will be cheaper than the Xbox Series X while being less powerful.

The Verge also claims to have “seen additional documents” and according to them, the CPU speed on Xbox Series X and Series S will be similar. They say that the Lockhart console comes with 7.5GB of usable RAM, and around 4 teraflops of GPU performance while the Series X is revealed to have 13.5GB of RAM and 12 teraflops of GPU performance.

According to TheVerge, price of the Xbox Series X will also be revealed at the Lockhart unveil event in August and Xbox Series S is designed for 1080p and 1440p monitors while Series X is for 4k monitors and beyond.
