Xiaomi’s K-series was a great success for its 1st generation smartphones, i.e., K20-series, and okay-ish success with the 2nd gen smartphones, i.e., K30-series. Xiaomi is thinking to cover that portion with one more smartphone of the same series and the exciting thing is that it will be more affordable than the Redmi K30 Ultra. In these previous 2-3 days, a couple of leaks has been seen in the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, and from those leaks, we have come to the conclusion that Xiaomi to Launch Redmi K30S on October 27.
Multiple pieces of evidence have revealed that it’s a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T smartphone. There are a few findings that have surfaced on Weibo yesterday that reveal that the Redmi K30S are going to be breaking cover on Oct. 27. However, there’s no official confirmation on the date yet. As for the teaser shared by the corporate, Redmi head, Lu Weibing shared a cryptic image on Weibo. The teaser wasn’t easily understandable, but it appears the teaser was for no other phone but the Redmi K30S.
As per previous information shared by Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K30S could accompany a Snapdragon 865 processor and skip on the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor just like the Redmi K30 Ultra.
Redmi K30S Specifications (Expected)
The posters that have emerged on Weibo confirm the Redmi K30S moniker. Also, it’s clear from the pictures that it’s a rebadged version of the Xiaomi MI 10T that went official in global markets in September. The posters show that the Redmi K30S’ key features include the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, a display that supports 144Hz refresh rate, and a huge 5,000mAh battery.
The TENAA listing of the Redmi K30S has revealed that its specifications are just like the MI 10T phone. The Redmi K30S features a punch-hole display of 6.67 inches. The IPS LCD offers a 20:9 ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The handset is preinstalled with MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS. it’s a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The SD865 chipset is amid up to 12 GB of RAM. The phone is predicted to land in China with up to 512 GB of storage. It doesn’t feature a microSD card slot.
For capturing selfies, it’s a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The backside of the phone features a 64-megapixel primary shooter, a superwide lens of 13-megapixel, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. The posters reveal that it’ll be available in silver and black color variants.
