Samsung is expected to announce its much-anticipated flagship series – Galaxy S21 trio during the Galaxy Unpacked event which is going to take place next year. By this time now, we pretty much know everything about the series as these devices have been a consistent part of the rumor mill and leaks for weeks. Now, Samsung’s largest mobile experience store (Opera House, Bengaluru) in India has confirmed to Android Authority that the company will launch its Galaxy S21 series globally on January 14.
The sales for the Galaxy S21 series will begin on January 29 in the country, but one can still pre-order the devices by paying Rs. 2000 from the exclusive Samsung stores. Once the pre-order is placed, the store will keep the buyers updated with the actual availability and delivery attributes via WhatsApp. Not only that, but the store executives at the Samsung store also confirmed the devices will arrive in three colors.
But according to a few reports, the Galaxy S21 will be available in gray, pink, purple, and white colorways. The Plus variant in the series will be available in pink, purple, silver, and black colors. The top-end Galaxy S21 Ultra will come only in white and black. We have seen the colors and forms of these phones in the renders and teasers. Now, it looks like Galaxy S21 series might only come in three colorways in the country, or the store executives do not have enough information around colors. According to a previous report, the pricing of the S21 series in India will stay unchanged from the Galaxy S20 series.
The Samsung store has also have revealed some details and specifications of the upcoming devices. The Galaxy S21 trio will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2100 chipset in the country. In some regions, the device will be launched powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. This is bad news for some fans as there were some rumors and speculations that the South Korean giant might unveil the S21 series will Snapdragon SoC in all regions. As for the optics, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is confirmed to come with a 108 MP primary sensor, coupled with a 10 MP telephoto camera sensor with 10X optical zoom and 12 MP ultra-wide sensor.
