Last year in July, Motorola released Moto G 5G that later rolled out in the U.S. as Moto One 5G. Well, the Chinese smartphone maker has launched yet another phone and it is the cheapest 5G smartphone from Motorola in North America available at $399. Motorola One 5G Ace specs include a giant 6.7-inch LCD panel with an FHD+ 1920×1080 pixels resolution along with a centrally-placed punch-hole cutout which houses a 16MP selfie camera. Motorola has squeezed the bezels a bit and it looks pretty good with a decently sized chin which is not too big but not too small.

The phone packs in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G fabricated on an 8nm node. It comes embedded with a Snapdragon X52 5G modem that allows Motorola One 5G Ace connected to Sub-6GHz 5G networks for lightning-fast internet and better performance on the brand-new 5G network. It packs in 4GB and 6GB RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB storage options that you can and extend with a microSD card.

At the back, you’ll find a circular fingerprint scanner masked under Motorola’s logo. It has a triple camera setup housed in a squaricle camera bump. It uses a 48MP primary sensor with an 8MP ultrawide module and finally, a 2MP macro sensor paired along with a LED flash that completes its camera setup. The device weighs around 212 grams and fortunately, packs in an IP52 rating which is quite impressive if not that dull.

Next up, the device is powered by a hefty 5,000 mAh battery under the hood supplied with 15W wired charging support and a 10W charging adapter available in the box. If you want to maximize its charging capacity, you’ll have to upgrade to a 15W charger which means you will have to spend more on a faster adapter.

Next up, the device comes preloaded with Android 10 OS under the hood with Motorola My UX skin on top of it which is considered as one of the most light-weight custom skin available today. You might not even feel it exists unless you try some of the features that Motorola offers with Moto devices apart from those offered by Android 10 OS.
