Ahead of its official debut, a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station (DCS), shared a post on Weibo, sharing the latest OnePlus 16 leaks revealing key specifications. The tipster revealed some of the major highlights, indicating that the upcoming device would stand out in the premium segment after its release.

First things first, Digital Chat Station highlights its battery as the most standard feature. The tipster claims that the device is confirmed to pack a 9000mAh battery, making it one of the largest capacities among its portfolio.
The tipster then revealed that the OnePlus 16 will be powered by Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, along with a dedicated self-developed OPPO chip, that would assist in saving power and supporting low voltage supply.
Among the highlights, the camera department is also expected to get significant upgrades, where the device is said to equip a 200MP camera. Although the leak or tipster didn’t specifically reveal or mention any additional camera, sensor size, or stabilization support.
Finally, the leak disclosed a detail about an area for gamers. So, the OnPlus 16 could feature a 165Hz screen refresh rate for normal use, while supported games are expected to run at up to 185Hz, which would make the gaming experience super-smooth.
