Apple has introduced a new smartwatch dubbed as Apple Watch Series 7 brings a rounded, curved, and softer glass cover on top introduced at the “California Streaming” event on Tuesday. Here’s everything you need to know about Series 7.
Apple Watch Series 7 Pricing and Availability
The pricing for the Apple Watch Series 7 commences at $399 and it is launching this fall. It is approximately Rs 29,400/- converted in INR for the GPS model. The GPS + Cellular variant is up for sale at $499 or Rs 36,800/- converted to INR. You can choose between five new aluminum case colors that are New blue, (PRODUCT)RED, Green, Starlight, and Midnight. Note that the Indian pricing is yet unavailable. There are NIKE and Hermes editions of the Apple Watch Series 7 available too.
The price tag for the popular Apple Watch Series 3 commences at $199 while the Watch SE goes for retail at $279.
Apple Watch Series 7 Specifications & Features
Apple Watch Series 7 has received quite a lot of improvements over Watch Series 6. It now comes in larger sizes i.e. 4mm and 45mm cases. Apple has constructed an all-new Watch Series 7 with a 20 percent more screen area and the borders are thinner at just 1.7mm. Plus, the Apple Watch Series 7 has a WR50 water-resistant rating, IP6X dust protection rating, and a crack-resistant cover.
You can choose between 5 new color variants. Also, the Apple Watch Series 7 is completely made up of 100 percent recycled aluminum but there are units with titanium and three stainless steel versions too.

Apple Watch Series 7 sports the same battery size producing 18 hours of backup although, with the new USB-C fast charging tech, it takes less time to juice up the battery. A 0 to 80 percent battery juice up takes approx 45 minutes.
The Watch Series 7 sports the same Retina- display though with some improvements resulting in 70-percent brighter indoor brightness than the previous iteration.
