Apple releases iOS 15.0.2 and watchOS 8.0.1: All the updates

After releasing the iOS 15 and an incremental iOS 15.0.1, the Cupertino-based giant Apple is releasing yet another incremental update that is iOS 15.0.2 along with watchOS 8.0.1 for its iPhones and Apple Watch series.

Apple iOS 15.0.2 Changelog

According to the changelog posted by Apple, the iOS 15.0.2 brings a few upgrades as well as patch a few existing bugs.

iOS 15.0.2 brings fixes to the issues that trigger the AirTag to not list on the Find My Items tab. Another fix is w.r.t. The CarPlay that disconnects or fails to open music apps. There’s a fix for the issue that triggers the iPhone Leather Wallet not connecting to Find My when paired with MagSafe.

Apart from that, users are facing difficulty updating or restoring their devices using iTunes or Finger app for the iPhone 13 series, iOS 15.0.2 fixes it as well. Apart from that, users have reported that their photos saved from the Messages app would delete when a user deletes a message or thread containing the said photo. It has been fixed as well.

Apple watchOS 8.0.1 Changelog

Apart from iOS 15.0.2, Apple has also released watchOS 8.0.1 that fixes a few bugs w.r.t. Apple Watch Series 3 models. The update includes fixes to software update progress that may not be displayed accurately on some Series 3 watches. Apart from that, some users have reported not getting any accessibility settings on Apple Watch Series 3 models.

Apple is currently working on iOS 15.1 which is the first major upgrade in the iOS 15 sphere. It will bring a tonne of updates including SharePlay in FaceTime, it will add vaccination cards to Apple Wallet as well among other bug fixes.
