It is worth noting that the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 has quickly become one of the most popular gaming laptops ever since the company made its debut a few years ago.
At that time, it was the best 14-inch gaming laptop because of its compact size while still delivering top-notch performance. Over the years, we have seen more and more 14-inch gaming laptops launched in the market from other manufacturers.
But it must be said that Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 has made its mark in the heart of the consumers. Yes, there have been some heating issues on the device but they are not as much to draw people away from its good parts.
At CES 2022, Asus has updated its ever-popular Zephyrus G14 with a Ryzen 6000 mobile chipset along with a Radeon 6000 graphics card. This is the first time Asus is going all-AMD with its Zephyrus G14 which shows the confidence Asus has in AMD now.
It is also good for the consumers that we have an option apart from Intel now after so many years of dominance with Intel-based laptops. Not only in the processing department but the Zephyrus G14 has also been updated with hardware and other specifications too.
We now get a 720p webcam on the device that supports Windows Hello for face recognition and Asus’ latest display technology called Nebula in a 14-inch size.
This Nebula display from Asus is a 2560 x 1600p resolution IPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, anti-glare coating, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 3ms response time.
You get the display along with Pantone validation too so that should be good for designers and people who work in color-demanding environments. Along with Ryzen 9 6900HS mobile CPU that has 8 cores and 16 threads, you get Asus’ Vapour Chamber cooling system.
The laptop comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM along with 1TB of PCIe 4 SSD storage and runs Windows 11 Home operating system but we would have liked the Windows 11 Pro.
Details about Zephyrus G14’s availability and pricing are not available yet so we will keep you posted if anything is revealed.
