OnePlus has teased that it will hold an event on December 17th at 2.30 PM local time in China. The event is set forth to commemorate OnePlus’ ninth year anniversary where both OnePlus CEO Pete Lau and co-founded Li Jie will make it to the podium.
The poster stays “Born to the new” and has a tagline “New direction, new action, new future”. Although it is unclear what OnePlus has decided to announce at this mystery event, a teaser for the upcoming OnePlus 11 can be anticipated. Again, the phone is slated to arrive in the first quarter of next year so we might get to see the teaser only.
It’s ironic how whether or not OnePlus will announce new products at this mystery event is mysterious in itself. There’s not much information available about the December 17 event so we’ll have to wait for more confirmation.
According to Android Police, it is likely that OnePlus will hold a separate event for the OnePlus 11 and not reveal it on the anniversary itself. OnePlus 11 is slated to arrive in China earlier next year followed by its debut in the global markets.
