Good news for Xiaomi fans globally indeed. Xiaomi has commenced HyperOS 2 global rollout, a custom UI based on Android 15 OS, that was unveiled last month. Jam-packed with a tonne of additions, new animations, upgraded aesthetics, upbeat cross-device connectivity and more. Here’s a sneak peek into what you get with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and the list of devices that will get their hands on the update in November and December this year.

HyperOS 2 Packed With a Lot of Beef

As a second-gen update, HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, brings a lot on the table. It offers new animations that make your user experience smoother. Home Screen+ 2.0 is made for interconnectivity letting you sync and/or transfer calls, music playback across Xiaomi devices. There’s a Link to Windows feature on-board making it easier for users to connect with Windows PC (and the whole world uses it so yeah, perfectly in-place feature).

There’s Dynamic Effects across the screens. With HyperOS 2 global update, you get personalized customizations on the lock screen setup. A 3D real-time weather system adds a fair allowing the device to simulate real atmospheric conditions. However, the global edition lacks HyperAI which is Xiaomi’s suite of AI features but let’s say, it might come in the future but take it with a pinch of salt.
