We have been hearing a lot about the potential compact tablet, and the listing has sparked industry rumors. Notably, the accessory has the A3632 model number, which purportedly does not match the model number of any existing or previous iPad mini cases.
Apple’s French regulatory listing reveals a new Smart Folio
The newly surfaced Smart Folio listing has been added to Apple’s French regulatory website. The listing includes accessories related to the iPhone 18 Pro that appeared on the website in September 2026.
The accessory’s model number, A3632, is the reason why it is gaining attention from the industry. However, the number does not relate to the current or previous-gen iPad mini Smart Folio models, according to reports.
Even though the listing reveals a new accessory, it does not provide any technical details about the tablet. It is just “Smart Folio pour iPad mini.”
Could the new accessory point to an iPad mini redesign?
