New ETA for CM12 Announced for the OnePlus One

After a long time of waiting and a lot of delays, the users of the Oneplus One may see Android 5.0 Lollipop on their devices in a few days. Steve Kondik, Ceo of Cyanogen Inc. posted a 2 replies on the message from Cyanogen Inc. and one on his own Google+ page:

“The truth is that we’re just drunk and lazy.  Seriously though, a new test suite came out because of MR1 literally the same day as we submitted, and so we had to redo the whole process with the new one.”

“No, this has nothing to do anything like that. It really is that the suite changed, added new requirements, and we had to address them. I haven’t slept in a week, seriously.”

“It’s just as frustrating for us because we are in scramble mode and really want to ship our hard work. Hopefully we’ll get the signoff in the next day or two. We’ll immediately send the OTA as soon as we get that email :)”

Their explanation of the delay is that after the release of Android 5.1 Lollipop (MR1) there came a new test suite, so they needed to do the test all over again. When Google give them the green light the OTA update will be released for every Oneplus One user with stock Cyanogen 11S. People are maybe thinking that Cyanogen is a bit slow or that it doesn’t matter them. But it is just the opposite, they are very frustrated as they can’t show the hard work they have done on the ROM to the public yet. And the ETA that Oneplus gave wasn’t from Cyanogen, so nobody can come and complain at them.
