OnePlus has officially announced two new phones in its Turbo series, the OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V, set to launch in China on January 8, 2026. The company highlighted a focus on performance and battery endurance, saying the models offer very strong performance with extremely long battery life.

The OnePlus Turbo 6 will be available in Lone Black, Silver, and Wilderness Green color options. The Silver variant stands out with 3D holographic engraving technology, designed to create dynamic light and shadow effects depending on viewing angles.

During the livestream, OnePlus confirmed that the Turbo 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series flagship chipset. The device will feature a BOE 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate eye-care display, aimed at smoother visuals and reduced eye strain.

Earlier reports cited by industry tipsters suggest the phone will include a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS BOE OLED flat screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to run Android 16 out of the box and weigh approximately 217.25 grams.

One of the headline features of the OnePlus Turbo 6 is its 9,000mAh battery, which OnePlus confirmed will support 27W wired reverse charging. The device is also rated for IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance, positioning it as one of the more rugged smartphones in its category.
