After losing the title of the second largest brand in terms of products shipped to Huawei, Apple is gearing up for its upcoming fall release where it will be launching at least three new iPhone models but then there are analysts like Daniel Ives of GBH who claim that Apple could reckon the sales upwards of 350 million units in the next 12 to 18 months and that’s an average of 20 million iPhones every month for 18 months.

Last year, Apple released three iPhones i.e. iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X where the first two were too small and the latter was too expensive which discouraged users from upgrading to the latest iPhones. Even after that, iPhone X received a huge acclaim with millions of units sold around the world and in fact, it’s facial recognition system and the notch was popularized too many other brands decided to roll out their smartphones with similar features minting millions of dollars in sales.

This year, Apple is targeting for a price range of $700 to $800 which is where more people upgrade their smartphones instead of waiting for the next year so that the prices of the iPhone could fall under their budget. Apple is also eying towards China which is one of the largest and potentially profitable markets for Apple as there are more than 100 million iPhone customers in the country where 60 to 70 million users are up to upgrade their iPhones in the next 18 months bracket that will add the revenue earned on the Apple’ side.

Analysts quoted that every year when the Apple sales are stumped, the next year sees unprecedented sales volume in terms of upgrades and similarly, the upcoming iPhone models are being seen to have great potential to be upgraded to from the previous iPhones. Apple will be announcing three iPhone models i.e. 2018 5.8” OLED iPhone, 6.1” LCD iPhone, and a 6.5” OLED iPhone where the middle model will be the cheapest at around $550 to $650 while the rest could reck up to $900 and more as per the previous reports.

A rumor rose in the tech world that Apple could introduce the next generation of 2016 iPhone SE smartphones i.e. iPhone SE2 based on iPhone 7 which is usually a cheaper alternative to buying regularly sized iPhones though with some compromises but recently, the rumors were squashed. There are a plethora of products that have been lined up for this fall launch including a dual-SIM variant of 6.1” LCD iPhone that will be released in China only, the new lineup of MacBook and iPad Pro and iOS 12.
