What’s interesting is the fact that the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 will take the title of ‘thinnest foldable phone’ getting it under the 10mm mark. At present, this title is reserved by Honor Magic V3 (earlier, it was Magic V2’s USP). With that being said, the next-gen flagship device is expected to arrive sometime in the third quarter of this year i.e, between July and September. I highly doubt that the launch is happening this month even though a specific source mentioned otherwise, however, let’s keep a tab on the same.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 Specs (Rumored)
We can’t just sit with the claim that the Mix Fold 4 is the thinnest foldable phone ever. We need specs and turns out we have rumored one’s thanks to a few previous reports.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 will bring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood. Of course, this is a bit weird since the Xiaomi 15 series is coming sometime in October and with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC instead. In any case, the phone is speculated to have an IPx8 rating, a 5000mAh battery (or larger), and a 50MP primary shooter housed in a slightly redesigned rear camera setup that you can check out in the image posted above.

A bunch of previous leaks suggested the primary cam will come accompanied with a 1/1.55” sensor size and OIS; there’s a 60MP telephoto OmniVision OV60A sensor with 1/2.8” sensor size and 2x telephoto zoom. There’s also a 10MP periscope telephoto capable of 5x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide shooter competing with its quad-camera setup.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 won’t be alone at the launch as it will be joined by Mix Flip, Xiaomi’s first-ever clamshell-styled device. However, these devices might never come out of China and if true, this can be a big letdown for many Xiaomi enthusiasts.
