Realme is gearing up to expand its flagship GT series as live images of the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro have surfaced online, just days after official renders leaked. The leaks hint at a bold design shift and a powerful hardware lineup, signaling that the GT 8 Pro could be a standout flagship for the brand this year.
Realme GT 8 Pro live images and specs leaked, big time!
According to tipster Debayan Roy on X, the upcoming flagship phone brings a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC under the hood. Well, what’s interesting is the Realme GT 8 Pro live images that made it to X as well, showing a rather unusual camera setup consisting of three shooters enclosed in a circular camera bump, while another photo suggests we have two camera designs on-board the GT 8 Pro.
This confirms Realme is testing out a swappable camera island, something that comes out of the box, although you won’t be able to change the actual camera sensors, of course.

Realme GT 8 Pro specs leaked ahead of launch
The report lists out the full specs sheet that the Realme GT 8 Pro brings to the table. Starting with the display features, it includes a 6.78” QHD OLED panel boasting a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, BOE developed the LTPO 10-bit flat panel for GT 8 Pro and probably for the regular GT 8 as well.
On the powertrain, we see a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC flanked by 16GB RAM, Android 16-powered Realme UI 7, and a massive 7,000mAh battery plus 120W charging tech. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner takes care of the biometrics, while an IP69 rating protects the device from dust and water.
One of the first to appear on a smartphone is the swappable camera islands from a circular one enclosing the rear setup to a rectangular one. The optics look like a 50MP Sony LYT–808 OIS primary shooter paired alongside a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide and a 200MP HP5 periscope telephoto shooter taking care of the rear assembly. There’s a stereo speaker setup and excellent haptics on the go.
Realm GT 8 Pro is expected to arrive sometime this month, and it could be among the first to debut in India, housing the flagship chipset. Watch out for this space as we gather more intel about the upcoming launch.
