vivo has officially announced the vivo X200T India launch date, confirming that the smartphone will be launched in India on January 27. The device will be part of the company’s X200 series and is expected to focus on camera performance, smooth user experience, and modern design.
Performance and software
vivo has confirmed that the X200T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, which is designed to deliver high-end performance and improved power efficiency. In terms of software, the smartphone will ship with OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, straight out of the box. This places the device among the early Android 16 smartphones expected to launch in India.
Camera system with ZEISS
The vivo X200T will come with a triple rear camera setup developed in partnership with ZEISS. vivo has confirmed that the phone will feature a 50MP main camera with the Sony IMX921 sensor and f/1.57 aperture. It will also include a 50MP ultra-wide camera using the JN1 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, along with a 50MP telephoto camera powered by the IMX882 sensor with an f/2.57 aperture and a 70mm focal length.
According to vivo, ZEISS optical tuning is applied across all rear cameras, and the phone will support up to 100x HyperZoom for enhanced long-range photography.
Display, battery, and additional features
While vivo has not officially disclosed all specifications, reports suggest that the X200T will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The front camera is expected to feature a 32MP sensor, designed for high-quality selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is also rumored to pack a 6,200mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Additional reported features include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and eSIM support.
