iQOO has officially announced that it will launch its first-ever Ultra-series smartphone, the iQOO 15 Ultra, in China on February 4. After several teasers, the company has now confirmed the debut date of its new gaming-focused flagship, marking a step up in its performance-driven smartphone lineup.

According to the company, the iQOO 15 Ultra is built for gamers and power users, bringing together a fresh design approach and top-tier hardware.

New “Future Capsule” design and energy blade lighting effects

iQOO says the iQOO 15 Ultra features a new “Future Capsule” DECO design, paired with “Energy Blade” lighting effects that are meant to balance simplicity with a premium, modern look.

The company also revealed a new Fiber texture technology on the back panel, forming a hexagonal honeycomb energy matrix pattern. iQOO says this texture changes with the angle of light, giving the phone a dynamic appearance that reflects its performance-focused identity.

In addition, the phone will include a hidden air intake design, which the company claims improves cooling while keeping the overall look clean and streamlined.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and dedicated Q3 chip

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 15 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Alongside it, the phone will also feature the brand’s in-house Q3 chip, which is designed to boost gaming performance by improving frame stability, response times, and visual smoothness.

iQOO 15 Ultra specifications and features (rumored)

While iQOO has not yet shared the full spec sheet, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has posted detailed information about what users can expect from the device.

According to the leak, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to come with a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO flat Samsung display, offering high resolution and adaptive refresh rates. For photography, the phone is said to feature a 32MP front camera and a triple rear camera setup, including:

  • 50MP main sensor
  • 50MP ultra-wide lens
  • 50MP 3x telephoto lens

The leak also suggests up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, along with pressure-sensitive gaming triggers, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and advanced haptics using a 091640 dual-axis motor. Audio may also be a highlight, with 1115 coaxial symmetrical dual speakers reportedly onboard.

Digital Chat Station also claims that the phone will come with a 7,400mAh battery and support 100W wireless charging. A battery of this size would be unusual for a flagship phone and would be well suited for long gaming sessions, while fast wireless charging could help reduce downtime.

As with all leaks, these details should be treated as unconfirmed until iQOO makes them official.

What will be revealed at the launch event

With the February 4 launch now officially confirmed, iQOO will reveal full specifications, pricing, and sales details for the Chinese market at the event. So far, there is no word on whether the iQOO 15 Ultra will be released outside China.
