Samsung has announced the U.S. availability of its new Galaxy Book6 series, which includes the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6. The company confirmed that sales will begin on March 11, 2026, through Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung.com, with reservations currently open.
Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Book6 series runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. These chips are built on Intel’s 18A process technology combines the CPU, GPU, and a neural processing unit (NPU) into one system-on-chip design. This setup is intended to support smooth multitasking, graphics performance, and AI-based features.
The built-in NPU allows certain AI tasks to run directly on the device, which can improve speed and efficiency without depending heavily on cloud processing.
Improved cooling and slim design
Samsung has introduced thermal upgrades in select models to support sustained performance. The Galaxy Book6 Pro 16-inch includes a vapor chamber for improved heat management, while the Galaxy Book6 Ultra features a redesigned cooling system with a larger surface area for better heat distribution.
Both the Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Galaxy Book6 Pro can deliver up to 30 hours of video playback on a single charge, although battery life may vary depending on usage and settings.
The Galaxy Book6 Ultra measures 15.4mm in thickness, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro 16-inch is slimmer at 11.9mm, maintaining a lightweight and portable design.
AI and cross-device features
The Galaxy Book6 series includes AI-powered tools and features that connect with other Samsung devices. AI Select and Search allows users to find information using natural language input. Link to Windows lets users view phone messages and notifications directly on their laptop.
The Multi Control feature makes it possible to copy and paste content between compatible Galaxy devices. Second Screen allows users to extend their display by connecting a Galaxy Tab to the laptop to create a larger workspace.
These features are part of Samsung’s effort to create a more connected ecosystem between its smartphones, tablets, and PCs.

Pricing and availability
The Galaxy Book6 Series is available in a Grey color option. In the United States, the Galaxy Book6 Ultra starts at $2,449.99, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro is priced from $1,599.99. The standard Galaxy Book6 begins at $1,049.99.
Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition, built for managed IT environments and business users, will be available starting in late spring 2026.
