The Xiaomi 14 series became the first set of devices to offer the cutting-edge & flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC along with best-in-class specs to complement its flagship title. Turns out Xiaomi made a new record selling 1.44 million units of the Xiaomi 14 series in the first ten days after its launch in China.

Tipster Ice Universe posted a screenshot from a Chinese daily Wall Street Insights according to whom, the Chinese smartphone maker achieved an impressive feat selling 1.4474 million units in the first 10 days from October 31st to November 10, despite the heavy competition from the likes of Apple, Samsung among others. Integrating the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC ought to be a reason behind the Xiaomi 14 series domination in the Chinese market. For the unversed, Xiaomi 14 series launched a day after Qualcomm’s flagship chipset was launched making it the first lineup to pick up the flagship chipset. It took iQOO a week to launch iQOO 12 Pro with the same flagship chipset.

Xiaomi is also witnessing insane month-on-month (MoM) growth on the Chinese shore at 8.9% compared to Apple’s MoM of 0.8% even with the most powerful iPhone (15 Pro Max) launched a few weeks ago. Both Huawei and Honor are competing for their market share in China as well at 13% and 12.8% market share at the time of writing this.

Circling back to the Xiaomi 14 series, the lineup has three modes- Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition that reportedly sold in merely five minutes of taking orders. You should know that the above-mentioned sales volume is for the Chinese market. The series is yet to be announced globally. With the impressive demand in China, there’s no doubt the series will see similar demand in global markets as well.
