OnePlus has finally made the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra official! Crowned as the next-gen gaming phone with an external gaming controller, especially for the phone, the Ace 6 Ultra triumphs over the Ace 6 and Ace 6T, with a flagship Dimensity 9500 SoC, reaching a whopping 165fps on six popular games. Here’s everything you need to know about the China-exclusive gaming beast.

OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra specs at a glance

After much anticipation, Ace 6 Ultra is finally out, and we can have a deep dive into what it brought to the table. A Dimensity 9500 SoC is powering the beast with a 12-core Mali-G1 Ultra GPU capable of outputting more than double ray tracing performance, a 32% boost in single-core performance, and a 33% overall performance improvement compared to its predecessor.

The phone is able to crunch at 165fps across six titles, including Soul Knight, Subway Surfers, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Delta Force, and Clash of Clans.

The phone packs a whopping 8,600mAh battery that can keep the phone afloat for days on moderate use. When it comes to gaming, the phone can easily churn out up to 7.4 hours of gaming life at 165fps. For a road trip, Ace 6 Ultra can sustain up to 13.6 hours of navigation with no issues. In fact, the battery on board has been rated for 5 years of use, although whether it will sustain that or not has to be tested.

Additionally, we have 120W of fast charging, i.e., 100% in 49 minutes. There’s a feature called bypass charging that puts all the juice into your gaming when connected to external power, sparing the battery, especially when it runs hot after usage.

Being a gaming-focused phone, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra brings support to external gaming controllers, sold separately. We are talking about a fully loaded four-button controller with a 1.8ms reaction time, no joystick, and face buttons. There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, an extra antenna for a stronger signal during gaming, and a magnetic attachment point for an external cooling fan

Moving on, we have a 6.7” OLED 10-bit display with 1,272 x 2,772px resolution, HDR10+, up to 3,600 nits of brightness at 25% APL, and DC dimming, to name a few. On the optics front, we have a giant 50MP primary snapper at the back with OIS and a secondary 8MP ultra-wide snapper. The front, on the other hand, has a 16MP shooter.

Design-wise, the phone shares its DNA with the existing Ace 6 series. It has a vertically stacked rear camera assembly housing in a rectangular camera bump. The phone has an aluminum alloy frame with tempered glass protecting both the front and back of the phone. The Metal Storm variant has a regular glass, though.

Other specs include a symmetric stereo speaker setup, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, USB-C, IP66/IP68/IP69K protection, and dual-SIM support, to name a few.
