OnePlus has officially launched the new OnePlus Nord CE6 and OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite smartphones in India. The latest additions to the Nord CE lineup focus on battery life, gaming performance, smoother displays, and AI-powered software features that can be useful for everyday users.
The Nord CE6 arrives as the more premium option with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, an 8000mAh battery, and a 144Hz AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the Nord CE6 Lite marks the return of the CE Lite series after a two-year gap with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor, a 7000mAh battery, and several performance upgrades over its predecessor.
Both smartphones run OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and come with gaming-focused optimizations, upgraded cooling systems, and built-in AI editing tools.
OnePlus Nord CE6 takes the center
The OnePlus Nord CE6 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile platform built on a 4nm process. OnePlus says the chipset is tuned to deliver efficient performance during gaming and daily multitasking (if you’re interested, check out the Geekbench score).
The phone supports frame rates of up to 144FPS in supported titles and is claimed to maintain stable gameplay in BGMI sessions for up to six hours. To improve responsiveness, OnePlus has added a dedicated Touch Reflex Chip with a 3200Hz instant touch sampling rate.
Furthermore, gaming-focused hardware also includes a 6-axis gyroscope for motion controls and an X-axis linear motor for enhanced vibration feedback. In addition, heat management is handled by a VC cooling system that uses a 5,000mm² vapor chamber and a total cooling area of 33,147mm².
144Hz AMOLED display with eye protection features
The Nord CE6 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gameplay. The panel can reach up to 1800 nits in High Brightness Mode, which improves visibility outdoors under direct sunlight.
OnePlus has also included 3840Hz PWM dimming technology to reduce flicker during extended viewing sessions. Moreover, Aqua Touch 2.0 support allows the display to remain responsive even when the user’s fingers are wet.
For audio, the smartphone comes equipped with dual stereo speakers with support for 300% Ultra Volume.
8000mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging
Battery life is one of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus Nord CE6. The device packs a large 8000mAh battery that OnePlus says can deliver over 2.5 days of typical usage on a single charge.
The phone supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and also includes bypass charging support. This feature allows the device to draw power directly from the charger during gaming or heavy workloads, helping reduce battery heating.
The smartphone additionally supports 27W wired reverse charging. According to OnePlus, a 10-minute reverse charge can provide up to 12 hours of Spotify playback on compatible Nord Buds Pro 4 earbuds.
OnePlus says its Battery Health Engine is developed to maintain battery durability and capacity for up to six years of regular use.
Cameras, AI features, and OxygenOS 16
The Nord CE6 includes a 50MP primary rear camera with dual-axis optical image stabilization and support for 4K video recording. On the front, the device features a 32MP selfie camera with autofocus and 4K recording support.
OnePlus has integrated several AI-powered editing tools, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser, and AI Unblur.
The phone runs OxygenOS 16, which OnePlus says is optimized to deliver smoother long-term performance for up to six years.
Durability and colors
The OnePlus Nord CE6 comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It has also passed MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability testing.
The display is protected by Crystal Guard Glass, and the phone is available in Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black color options.

OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite returns after two-year gap
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite succeeds the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite and brings improvements in chipset performance, battery life, cooling, and software optimization.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset built on a 4nm process. According to OnePlus, the processor achieves an AnTuTu score of over 1,030,000 and delivers up to 43% better overall performance along with 155% improved graphics output compared to the previous generation.
The device also features UFS 3.1 storage and supports dynamic RAM expansion up to 16GB.
Gaming features and cooling system
The Nord CE6 Lite supports up to 144FPS gameplay in titles like Subway Surfers, while games such as BGMI, Free Fire Max, and Call of Duty: Mobile can run at up to 90FPS.
OnePlus claims the phone can maintain stable 60FPS gameplay in BGMI sessions for up to six hours. To manage heat, the device uses a cooling system equipped with a 5300mm² vapor chamber.
7000mAh battery with 45W charging
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite packs a 7000mAh battery with support for 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
According to OnePlus, the battery can deliver the following:
- Up to 81.7 hours of music playback
- Up to 26.2 hours of YouTube streaming
- Up to 11.7 hours of video calls
- Up to 10.6 hours of battle royale gaming
- Up to 9.1 hours of 4K video recording
The device also supports bypass charging to help reduce heat generation during gaming and charging simultaneously.
144Hz display, OxygenOS 16, and Gemini AI
The Nord CE6 Lite features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode.
The screen supports a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz and remains responsive even with wet or oily fingers.
The smartphone runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus says the software improves camera response speed, app launch times, and overall system startup performance. The company also claims the device is optimized to maintain smooth performance for up to 60 months (5 years).
Further, Google Gemini integration is included for AI-assisted reading, writing, and planning tasks, while Gemini Live enables real-time contextual assistance using the camera and on-screen content.
Cameras and aI editing tools
The rear camera setup on the Nord CE6 Lite includes a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone features an 8MP selfie camera.
Moreover, camera features include support for 10x digital zoom, 4K video recording at 30FPS, and Dual-View Video recording using both front and rear cameras simultaneously.
