  • RedMagic 11S Pro global launch is officially set for May 27 with flagship gaming-focused hardware and premium features.
  • The global variant combines a 7,500mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and 80W wireless charging for a more balanced experience.
  • Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the phone also features a 144Hz AMOLED display and up to 16GB RAM for high-end gaming performance.

RedMagic has officially announced the global launch of its latest gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 11S Pro, just days after the device made its debut in China. The RedMagic 11S Pro global launch is scheduled for May 27 at 8:00 AM EDT (5:30 PM IST), bringing the company’s newest gaming flagship to international markets.

For now, RedMagic has only confirmed the standard 11S Pro for global markets. There is no official word yet on whether the Pro+ variant will also see an international release.

RedMagic 11S Pro global launch brings a different battery setup

One of the biggest differences between the global RedMagic 11S Pro and the Chinese versions is the battery configuration.

The global variant comes with a 7,500mAh battery along with 80W wired charging and 80W wireless charging support. That is something the regular Chinese 11S Pro does not offer. In China, the standard 11S Pro packs a bigger 8,000mAh battery, but wireless charging is missing.

The Chinese Pro+ variant supports faster 120W charging, but keeps the 7,500mAh battery size. So honestly, the global model feels like a middle ground. You still get a huge battery, very fast charging, and wireless charging too. For most users, this setup probably makes more sense in daily use.

Premium gaming hardware remains intact

The phone keeps almost all the high-end hardware from the Chinese version. It features a large 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. RedMagic says the panel can reach 1,800 nits peak brightness, so outdoor visibility should not be a problem.

Inside, the device runs on the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version chipset. This is clearly made for gaming and heavy performance tasks. Memory options are expected to include 12GB and 16GB RAM, along with up to 512GB storage.

On the camera side, the phone includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 16MP under-display selfie camera. The under-display camera helps keep the screen clean without punch holes, which gamers usually prefer.
