It’s the 1st of a new month, and you know the drill—we unleash our listicle of smartphones launching in July 2026, aka the new month. Although most flagships are reserved for either the beginning or towards the end of the year, July does bring a favorite series on board—the Galaxy Fold and Flip series—and this time around, we have a third entrant as well. Of course, what a month’s worth of launches without Xiaomi, eh! We recently got a new OnePlus series as well; there’s more on the Oppo side.
Smartphones launching in July 2026
Well, let’s not make you wait any longer; here’s what the list of phone launches in July 2026 looks like.
Nubia RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro / Astra 2
Released: June 30 (China) / July 2026 (Global, rumored)
RedMagic has launched the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro on June 30 in China. However, its global launch is happening sometime in July 2026, following the footsteps of its predecessor in July 2025. Turns out Nubia will be rebranding the tablet as Astra 2 (successor to Astra). It is likely to bring in a 9.06” OLED with 2.4K resolution with an 185Hz refresh rate.
The tab brings a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC with liquid cooling tech on-board. Astra 2 is confirmed to bring an 8,300mAh battery plus 80W fast-charging tech and dual USB Type-C ports on-board. There’s 224GB LPDDR5T RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Android 15-based Redmagic OS 10.5 on-board.
Xiaomi Redmi K90 Ultra (China)
Release date: June 30
Well, the Redmi K90 Ultra was not listed in our ‘June 2026’ listicle, as the launch date was not revealed. Cut to now; the phone has been unveiled in China as of June 30. The Redmi K90 Ultra brings luxury and a premium feel to it.
There’s a built-in active cooling fan to keep the device’s temperature under check. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a last-gen chipset on board, although we wanted it to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The Xiaomi Redmi K90 Ultra brings a 6.83” AMOLED 165Hz display with slim bezels and an aluminum alloy middle frame on board.
There’s UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, achieving impeccable performance. We have a massive 8,850mAh battery plus 100W wired and 22.5W wireless charging tech. On the optics side, we have 50MP primary sensor with OIS + EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 20MP front cam. The phone retails for CNY 2,999/- in China for the base 12+256GB variant, and the price goes higher with every configuration.
OnePlus N6 (India)
Release date: June 30
OnePlus unleashed the kraken on its new portfolio of phones under the ‘N’ series. Making its debut on June 30 in India, the OnePlus N6 brings a price tag of INR 22,999/-, sitting below the Nord series in the country. Specs-wise, the phone brings a 6.8″ 720p 120Hz panel, a massive 8,000mAh battery, 45W SuperVOOC charging tech, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup.
The phone is equipped with a Dimensity 6300 Apex chipset, plus UFS 2.2 storage and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and an Android 16-backed OxygenOS 16 out-of-the-box, and has a great outlook for video streaming, casual users, casual gaming, and social media, to name a few. Oppo Reno 16 series (India)
Release date: July 2nd
The Oppo Reno 16 series is set to arrive in India on July 2nd, probably the first for the month of July. Launching via Amazon India, the series has at least two phones, i.e., Reno 16 and Reno 16c.
The Oppo Reno 16 has a 6.32” FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz panel with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The phone has a Snap Key, aka the OnePlus AI Plus Key for saving content. On the specs side, we have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC under the hood as per reports. Plus, there’s a 6,700mAh battery onboard with 80W fast charging tech, a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, and triple rear camera shooters: a 50MP primary, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom. On the pricing front, the Reno 16 will cost you around INR 59,999/-.
Next up, we have the Oppo Reno 16c with a Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC, 80W fast charging tech, a 7,000mAh battery, and a large 6.57” AMOLED 120Hz 1,400 nits panel. It has the same AI Snap Key as the base Reno 16. The phone is likely arriving at a price tag of INR 49,999/-, although take it with a pinch of salt.
Nothing Phone (4b)
Release date: July 7
Nothing is readying its affordable Nothing Phone (4b) for its July 7 release. The phone brings a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC under the hood, plus 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB of RAM. Phone (4b) is speculated to pack somewhere between a 5,000 and 6,000mAh battery plus 33W fast charging tech.
There’s a 6.78” 120Hz panel onboard housing up to 1600 nits of brightness, an 8MP front, and a 50+8MP rear camera setup. Nothing is likely to launch Phone (4b) at a price tag below INR 25,000, although we are still awaiting official confirmation.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 series (Global)
Launch date: July 22
Well, turns out we are going to get two Folds this year (remember, the Flip is standalone). The series is made up of two models, i.e., Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Well, as it goes, the Ultra for this year will retain the identity of the Fold from last year, while the ‘Wide’ model refers to a new entrant with a wider aspect ratio.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 (wide) brings a dual rear camera with two 50MP snappers plus a 10MP selfie cam on the cover and another on the inner screen. On the battery side, we have a 5,000mAh plus 45W wired charging on the Z Fold8 Ultra, while the Z Fold8 Wide gets a 4,800mAh plus 45W charging tech.
We might not get privacy screens on the foldable phones, something that was launched with the Galaxy S26 Ultra last year. The launch is happening on July 22, with sales starting on August 5.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 (Global)
Launch date: July 22
Well, there’s another fold in the Galaxy pipeline. We are talking about the Galaxy Z Flip8, the successor to the Z Flip7. The phone brings a 50MP primary plus a 50MP ultrawide shooter plus two selfie cams. We will see a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC on-board, although some markets might get an Exynos 2600 SoC thanks to Samsung’s dual-chip strategy.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 series
Release date: Late June 2026 (Rumored)
Xiaomi is launching three smartphones under the ‘Redmi Note 17 series’ branding on board. Dubbed as Redmi Note 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max, these align with Apple’s nomenclature. According to Smart Pikachu, the Note 17 series is likely to bring a flat 1.5K display, water resistance, and a dual stereo speaker setup. Redmi Note 17 specs include a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 SoC, a 50MP primary cam, to name a few.
Moving on, we have the Redmi Note 17 Pro with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 under the hood. There’s a 1.5K flat-display, a 200MP primary cam, and a massive 9,000mAh battery. Finally, the Pro Max is likely to feature a 1.5K display as well and will be powered by a Dimensity 7500 SoC plus a ginormous 10,100mAh battery.
Note that all these specs mentioned above are rumored and may not reflect what the actual phones would carry. Additionally, the series will arrive in China before entering any other markets, if it does.
