Lenovo globally launched their Moto G5S and G5S plus devices this month and now the company is prepared to bring them to India. As per the sources, Moto G5S Plus will be launched in India on August 29, 2017, at 12 pm IST. The approximate price of the smartphone will be around Rs. 22,700.
As reported before, Moto G5S Plus will sport a unibody all-metal aluminum design. Motorola has claimed that the phone will pack in enough juice so that you won’t have to run for the charger multiple times a day. The device will have a turbo charger inside the package that will give around 5 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charge (borrowing the words of the company itself).
It is not confirmed when the device will go on sale. Nonetheless, Amazon has teased a special page with a banner, where interested people can get themselves notified about the launch.
The dual rear camera setup puts the smartphone in limelight. On the back, it features two 13-MP sensors whereas the front will have an 8 MP wide angle lens with a soft selfie flash.
The smartphone will have a 5.5-inch Full HD Display on the contrary to the 5-inch FHD on the Moto G5S. The device has a slightly bigger battery compared to the G5 (3000mAh and 2800mAh respectively).
Underneath the hood, it has an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 SoC processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The G5S Plus will run on the Android Nougat 7.1 (no Oreo, not even 7.1.2). Even though the device comes as two variants (RAM options i.e 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage), we don’t whether or not both of them make it to India. The storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
When it comes to the connectivity, the G5S Plus supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and it sports a 3.5 mm headphone jack. You won’t miss out on fingerprint scanner either.
We expect Moto G5S Plus to hit the market as an Amazon exclusive.
