It’s that part of the year again, CES is on the run, and along with other brands, Nokia presents their latest offering in the Android land: the Nokia 6. HMD Global (the parent company) announces details and pricing for the Nokia 6 at CES 2017.
The Nokia 6 will come with a 4GB RAM and Octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset, which sounds a little dissapointing. The phone is a mid-range device and carries an entry level chipset. The phone will run on Android Nougat 7.0, and will also sport a 16MP main camera sensor, supported by PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and a 1.0um sensor at f/2.0 aperture. On the front, the phone will come with an 8MP front-facing camera. And for all you audiophiles out there, the Nokia 6 will bring back the dual front-facing speakers with dual smart amplifiers. Apart from that, the phone will also feature a dual SIM slot (probably a hybrid one) to suit the majority of customers.
On the design phase, the phone will feature the generic all metal (Aluminium) unibody with a fingerprint sensor on the front, and a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Take a look at the full list of specifications below:
