The hype growing progressively day by day, as we approach the official announcement of the OnePlus 5 on June 15. The leakers seemingly have not had enough of their jobs, as they are constantly pouring in the leaks, flooding our timelines. After a few new camera samples that suggest that the OnePlus 5 might sport a dual camera setup with a secondary monochrome camera sensor, we now have a look at an alleged official-looking teaser that might insinuate a horizontal dual camera set up, instead of the vertical one, which has been widely rumored.
Coming through Weibo – the ‘Chinese Twitter’, the image seemingly portrays the OnePlus 5 featuring an iPhone-like design, but with an, even more, sleeker appeal. The lines on the top-left and bottom-right can be perceived as the antenna bands, the rest of the phone body looks like an aluminum unibody, and the most intriguing part – the dual camera setup is horizontal. Something that we had never expected. It seems as if OnePlus is taking some inspiration from the iPhone. However, this leak does also confirm that dual cameras will be present, making it even more likely that the newer photos taken using the OnePlus 5 may be legitimate, although nothing can be said for sure with leaks.
