The most popular ROM “CyanogenMod” will be launching it’s new version called “CyanogenMod 13” also known as “CM13”. However the CyanogenMod is officially supported to few company’s devices only. As of now the official ROM will be for Oneplus One and later Oneplus 2 only. We don’t know when it will be coming for YU devices, but we bet “soon”. As the source code have been released by Cyanogenmod few days ago, there will be unofficial ports too, so keep a watch on that.
So you may be thinking, on what CyanogenMod will be based on? Yes my dear readers it’s none other than “Andriod Marshmallow”. The CyanogenMod 12 was a covering on Andriod 5.0.1 and CyanogenMod 12.1 on Andriod 5.1.1 respectively.
We should thankful to CyanogenMod for launching their custom ROM’s, as the new updates of Andriod was limited to Nexus devices only. But now it’s available as form of ROM’s to some mobiles. CyanogenMod are planning to extent their ROM’s to more devices in the market. The CM13 for Oneplus One will be released for Oneplus One by mid-october as of we know till now.
