Today, we’ve got our first glance at accurately rendered images and a 360-degree video showing the physical form of the upcoming flagship from Lenovo, the Moto Z2 Force. We saw some super low-resolution pictures of the device a few days ago and well the stuff we have today do confirm what we saw then. Most of it is pretty similar to last year’s models, with only a few notable changes.
This may not have been a big deal a year ago, but it’s 2017; the presence of a headphone jack is one of the first things we look for in a phone. How much ever companies try to promote wireless devices, I don’t think we are exactly ready to ditch wired headphones. Good news is, the renders show a headphone jack which was excluded in last year’s model.

Next thing to notice here is the antenna band that surrounds the phone at the edges. Last year’s model had the “caps” at the top and bottom of the screen, but this year they’ve decided to spread that around the device like seen on the Moto G5 and G5 Plus, most probably to provide better radio signal access.
Furthermore, the leaks show the Moto Z2 Force featuring a dual camera setup on the back, dual-LED flash on the front, single speaker that’s embedded with the earpiece, redesigned fingerprint scanner in the same position, a textured power button below the volume buttons and overall more rounded edges.
Also, although it’s not shown on the leaks from today, the one we saw a few days ago show that there’s going to be a Lenovo logo at the bottom part of the right-hand side of the phone.
While there are some changes to the phone, the location of the camera bump and the pogo pins are exactly the same, which means the Moto Mods you bought last year will still work on the newer phone. There are slight dimensional changes with the phone, resulting in a slightly larger footprint but the display remains the same at 5.5 inches. It’s rather slightly thinner than the Moto Z Force (and yet manages to fit the 3.5mm jack). We just hope the decrease in thickness doesn’t result in a smaller battery than before.
