Apple on Tuesday launched their first line of products of 2017 – a red colored iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and a new version of their 9.7-inch iPad.

If you were not a big fan of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the already existing jet black, matte black, gold, silver and rose gold color variants *sigh*, then there’s good news. Apple has released a sleek new red colored variant of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which is in line with their decade-long campaign that contributes to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. The device is priced at $749 and will be available for purchase starting this Friday.

If you thought Apple brings in only highly overpriced products, then you might probably be wrong this time. The new 9.7-inch iPad Pro is priced at just $329 and comes with a brighter display, Touch ID, worldwide LTE support, A9 chip and runs on iOS 10. However, the cheapest iPad will neither support Apple Pencil nor the Smart Connector.

Another product that impressed me is their new application called “Clips.” This app will help users combine photos, video clips and music to be shared through messages and social media. And the most interesting feature of Clips is that it can recognize people’s faces in the video and suggests them as recipients of the message. The app that comes bundled with artistic filters, shapes, and emojis, will be available for download in April on iOS 10.3.
