We know that Apple started a new trend in the industry a few years back when they launched their first AirPods in the market.

This was possibly the first time that a mainstream player had launched such a product and with it, Apple also removed the headphone jack from their iPhones.

At that time, everyone was of the opinion that this is an arrogant move by Apple to sell its product but if we look back now, it has made a fortune for the company.

Because it is known that AirPods have made a huge name for itself and people are loving it. For that reason, Apple also launched the AirPods Pro series which comes with “Pro” features.

These “Pro” features include active noise cancellation, soft ear tips for better comfort, and more. We are now waiting for the next-generation AirPods Pro which will be called the AirPods Pro 2.

As we already know, the latest-generation AirPods were already launched late last year and they do come with some of the features that came with the AirPods Pro.

Therefore, we now expect Apple to include a few new features in order to differentiate the AirPods Pro 2 from AirPods 3.

Based on that, we are now getting reports from Apple Insider Ming-Chi Kuo that the next AirPods Pro will have support for lossless audio. This is a type of compression where no data is lost and it gives you much better sound quality.

Right now, not even the AirPods Max which are the $600 Bluetooth headphones from Apple support lossless audio so this will be a huge feature for the AirPods Pro 2.

Another feature that is said to be coming with the AirPods Pro 2 is a charging case that will emit sound. And no, this is not a gimmick feature at all. This sound-emitting charging case is made so that whenever you lose it or misplace it, you can play sound on it to locate them easily.

Currently, you can find your AirPods via the Find My app but now you can do the same with your AirPods case.
