Apple recently launched the iPhone 13 series as the successor to the iPhone 12 series and while there were no major improvements in the iPhone 13 models compared to its predecessors, we know that the major changes are coming next year.

However, you would be surprised to find out that iPhone 13 series is still selling quite well because of the fact that many previous iPhone users have been upgrading to this series of smartphones. If we look at the iPhone 13 series and compare it with the iPhone 12 series, we will hardly find any changes.

But if we compare it with the iPhone 11 or the iPhone X, it is definitely worth upgrading to the latest iPhones. Therefore, we are told that there is a shortage of the iPhone 13 series in the market and the company is trying hard to produce more and more of its smartphones.

It is also worth noting that the report states Apple is planning to make all of its top-selling smartphones in India going forward. The same report reveals that the iPhone 13 trial production in India has already started at Foxconn’s Chennai plant.

The report reveals that Apple expects the trial of iPhone 13 production to end by next month and its production should officially start by February next year. It is worth noting that these phones will be produced both for the domestic market and exports as well.

Foxconn executives said that Apple’s 20-30% iPhone production from India gets exported to other parts of the world and it helps in easing their supply-chain issues. It is also estimated that 70% of iPhones that Apple sells in India are manufactured in the country itself. This production takes place at both the Foxconn plant in Chennai and the Wistron plant in Bengaluru.

The Indian market is also known to be money-conscious which means that the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 models which are usually sold at a discount in India take the majority of sales that Apple does in the country. We also expect Apple to bring discounts on its iPhone 13 models once they started getting produced in the country due to relaxation in import taxes etc.
