Call of Duty: Mobile arrived when the genre of battle royale was at its peak with Fortnite and PUBG Mobile being the top contenders. It has since taken both the iOS and Android gaming communities by storm. It was already announced that COD: Mobile will have a beta build teasing the way into the upcoming Season 6. Turns out the public beta build is now available and brings a lot of upgrades for both iOS and Android devices.
Call of Duty: Mobile took it to its subReddit announcing the beta build. According to the information provided, some of the features announced now are likely to arrive in Season 6 while some will be available in Season 7. Note that the current version which is running on Season 5 is stable and getting a beta version means you might get issues playing the game, view some placeholders instead of texts, and so on.
The incoming Call of Duty: Mobile beta build states that it has now gained an optimized battle royale mode. Along with that, there are some new perks, scorestreaks, operator skills, and grenade types to check out for in the beta build. There are two new multiplayer maps called Stacks and Slums.
For now, only 30,000 slots are available for users which includes 32-bit and 64-bit systems on Android and iOS Test Flight version which is capped at 10,000 slots per link. The download size of the beta build is approx 2GB.
The Zombies mode is now included in the beta build. There are some UI changes that the game will see with the upcoming season as seen in the beta update. The developers have stated that they will be collecting data of users aged 16 years and above that will be used to analyze the performance. All the data will be discarded eventually.
