Global Oppo Reno4 series gets nod from multiple certification ahead of launch

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo launched its Reno4 series last month in China. It is set to unveil the Global versions of the Oppo Reno4 series as imminent by the number of certifications it has already received. Earlier today, the Reno4 series carrying model number CH2089 (vanilla Reno4) and CPH2091 (Reno4 Pro) were spotted on Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, and TUV Rheinland.

According to the certifications, vanilla Reno4 will carry the model number CPH2089 and will be almost identical to its Chinese counter[art. On the other hand, the Reno4 Pro bearing model number CPH2091 will be identical as well although its refresh rate will be bumped to 120Hz from the original 90Hz you can find on the Oppo Reno4 Pro.

The listing also provided information on the upcoming Reno4 series such as both the devices will run on the latest Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2. Further, both will support Bluetooth v5.1 and will have a dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi support.

 

According to the Reno4 series specifications, both the devices will feature a high-octane mid-range Snapdragon 765G processor with up to 12GB RAM and these phones will be powered by a colossal 4,000 mAh battery. Furthermore, the vanilla Reno4 will pack in an edge-to-edge 6.43” AMOLED panel with a 32MP punch-hole selfie shooter while the back features a 48MP triple camera setup arranged in a vertical stack in a rectangular camera bump. The Pro variant will be slightly larger at 6.55” AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate panel with similar rear camera setup.

We will have to wait until further information is not available w.r.t the upcoming Oppo Reno4 series (Global).
