Google Pay Adds Support to 30 More Banks in The United States

Google has a highly competitive payments app similar to Apple Pay and it’s improving every day. Google is trying to expand its horizons and as per the latest update, it has already established support with 30 more banks in the United States which is its own turf similar to Apple.

According to GSMArena, Google announced the list of 30 new names of banks which includes Edge FCU, City Credit Union, Incredible Bank, Forward Bank, Wyoming Bank & Trust, Kentucky Bank, United Bank and Trust, Granite Credit Union, among others.

Google is consolidating its various payments app under one umbrella of Google Pay as it recently decided to rename Google Tez which serves to more than 50 million users in India. After the process is done, Google Tez will be officially named as Google Pay that will provide users with confusion-less payment options via UPI and other modes.

Google Pay allows users to store his/her boarding passes and flight tickets whenever needed. It has integrated PayPal option that allows using PayPal on Google Pay for users in the United States. It made more than 100 million downloads after its release and has integrated with various institutions, transit systems, etc.
