As the Google’s October 9th Made by Google event is approaching, we have registered an uptick in leaks speculating the releases of several smartphones in the ‘mighty’ October ranging from Huawei’s Mate 20 series to Samsung Galaxy A7 to OnePlus 6T and counting. Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL has seen a lot of leaks till date thanks to a large number of sources that contribute to what we will be getting even before Google unveils it and we have one more in the Google’s bucket of ‘leaks’.
A twitterati named Ishan Agarwal (IshanAgarwal24) posted a photo showing Google Pixel 3 XL front sides, front, and back in the white-color variant. The live images aren’t something new but we get a detailed confirmation about the deep notch, single lens rear camera protruding slightly outwards, and a ‘dual-lens’ front camera setup encased in its ugly-looking iPhoneX-like notch.
This confirms Google’ intention towards creating Super Selfies smartphones with two lenses mounted at the front. Thanks to the previous leaks, we get a 8-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 with autofocus while another sensor has an ultra-wide angle camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and a fixed focus thereby suggesting that the former lens could have a variable focus for which, we have already seen the image samples in a previous leak (believe it, there are just too many).
Google has revamped the Camera app which shows Camera, Portrait, Video, Panorama, and a ‘More’ mode which hints towards Pixel 3’ Slow Motion, Google Lens and other features that the camera comes bundled with. The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be unveiled at the Made by Google event on October 9 for which, we will be covering the story, so stay tuned on TrueTech.
